New beers have been coming in thick and fast of late. This week saw the arrival of Pelican Brewing Co - a US brewery, situated right on the beach in Pacific City, Oregon. Pelican is one of the many award-winning breweries in Oregon (as of 2011 there were 159 breweries in that State alone!). In 2012 they were voted Champion Small International Brewery at the Australian International Beer Awards. We also received new stock from Harviestoun, Exit Brewing, Nomad, Weissenoher, Red Hill, Batch & Six Point.

We also are doing are pre-order of Stone and Wood's 2015 Stone Beer - this is an annual release using medieval brewing techniques and one definitely not to be missed.

TAP 1: EPIC Lupulingus Imperial IPA

An intergalactic tangerine colour. It is full-on ripe summer stone fruit – like baked caramelised peaches, drizzled with apricot syrup – the hop resin character is fresh and piney but leaves an oily and gum numbing finish as your tongue is pounded by the chronic bitterness that feels like it will last forever.
