Pirate Life Tripel D'Adelaide Belgian Style Blonde Ale 500ml Can

Belgian Blonde, 7.5% ABV

Brewery: Pirate Life Brewing

Location: Adelaide, South Australia Australia

Description:

They say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery – in which case, the crew at De Koninck Brewery in Antwerp would likely be chuffed with this. And while our Tripel D’Adelaide is by no means a frame by frame remake of their award-winning Tripel D’Anvers, it most certainly is, as our Head Brewer Lewy puts it, an homage…

Pilsner Malt and oats lend a sturdy foundation and striking golden hues. It’s a blonde, meaning the body is brisk and the carbonation bright, but there’s still loads of chewy bread and honey notes there, too.

Like all good Belgians, it’s the yeast which binds the offering. The WLP530 Abbey Ale strain from White Labs more than delivers here, providing all the archetypal characters you’d expect - not to mention a 7.5% ABV.

Pear drop, orange zest, banana, and spicy phenols are all present, wafting steadily from a thick, meringue-like head. On the palate, we find a well-balanced marriage of the above, resulting in an exuberantly complex, yet ultimately refreshing froth.

Pair with mussels and hot chips.

Malt: Pilsner Malt, Golden Naked Oats

Hops: Motueka

Mosaic Pale Ale label

Description:

Mosaic Gluten Free Pale Ale, developed to showcase the amazing aromas and flavour of the Mosaic Hop. You should be able to pick up blueberry, tangerine and papaya, with the addition of bittering hop Hallertau Blanc bringing lemongrass and passionfruit to the beer. Mosaic Pale Ale has a very pale malt base, with carapils and malted oats added to give a lightly toasted complexity and an enhanced mouth feel.

--

J-Juice label

Blackmans x Hop Nation Juicy Banging JJuice NEIPA 375ml Can

IPA - New England / Hazy, 7.1% ABV

Brewery: Hop Nation Brewing Co

One of our most popular and award-winning beers! Hazy, juicy and with a citrusy hop aroma – finishing off with intense flavour and a great mouthfeel. Featuring Riwaka, Nelson Sauvin, Citra and Mosaic hops – this beer will bring out the Jedi in everyone. Unfined and unfiltered, J JUICE pours quite hazy in the glass with a bright orange colour.

Our Hazy Pale Ale is dry-hopped with new world hops for that bright, creamy and refreshing citrus-forward juiciness. It's not a Sailors Grave beer without a subtle taste of Gippsland, so we've added a touch of earthy coastal brine with the addition of fresh locally foraged Saltbush from the Gippsland coastline hand-picked by Gab.
