1st Feb 2022
Welcome to this month's tasting notes. Get ready for a mouth watering selection of delicious beer.
This month our good friends at Garage Project have been generous enough to gift our Beer Club subscribers an extra beer -- their infinitely delicious and crushable Bliss Lager. This is their way of saying thank you to all our awesome Beer Club subscribers’ continued support during these challenging times. Legends! Bliss is the perfect beer for summer. A combination of the simplest elements, brewed with New Zealand malt and Motueka hops, Bliss is fermented cold and stored at subzero temperatures to produce a delicately crisp, clean and easy drinking lager. Simple and familiar things taken to a new level. Drink yourself more Bliss. Cheers to that!

Refraction Wheat Beer - Witbier / Blanche
5.2% ABV
11 IBU
Brewery: Frexi Brewing
Location: Melbourne, Victoria
Beer Description: Collaboration with The Zythologist. Refraction is a phenomenon where light is distorted when is passes from one medium to another. Newton discovered that visible light was composed of waves of different lengths, and each wavelengths reflects a different colour. When light enters a prism, it slows down and bends, causing the wavelengths to separate and portray their respective colours. The bright light of Frexi brewing through the prism of the Zythologist creates a wide spectrum of flavours and aromas reminiscent of the peoples that conform them. This is a unique beer vector caused by a cultural angle of deviation.

Elsie The Milk Stout Stout - Milk / Sweet
4.4% ABV
Brewery: Batch Brewing Company

The result is a beer that's sweet and smooth and dark and roasty, with gentle touches of chocolate, coffee and cream. Served on nitrogen at the bar, but conditioned for the bottle, allowing yeast to naturally carbonate the stout for an incredibly thick and smooth texture. She's so tasty, you'll believe cows really can jump over the moon!

4.5% ABV
Brewery: La Sirène Brewing
Location: Melbourne, Victoria
Beer Description: The Citray Sour is a refreshing Citrus-infused Farmhouse Sour made with our House yeast that showcases fresh local Victorian grown Citrus against a unique base Farmhouse Ale. Initially the heady Citrus aromatics transport you to an orange orchard that then gives way to a welcomed acidity (courtesy of our natural souring process and our own strain of bacteria) that finishes dry, citrusy & refreshingly tart.
Worlds Collide Wheat Beer - Hopfenweisse
5.1% ABV
Brewery: Tallboy And Moose
