Created as a celebration of life’s passions, this IPA has lashings of passionfruit, plus generous additions of riwaka and simcoe hops. We always said we wanted to make beers worthy of the gods. Hopefully they accept our latest offering.

East Coast anthem IPA - A big ol' hop poppa of a beer, packing an intense mango, tropical fruit hit from US big guns, Simcoe and Mosaic. It's just bigger and juicier than its bitter West Coast counterpart, like sippin' hazy hop nectar from a can. It's all good. Explicit Haze Warning: If cloudy beer offends you please drink from the can or close your eyes.

I'm filled with nitro, so give us a shake and pour like you've got no time to waste. Brewed using a bumper crop from Brewer Mat's lemon tree, this Oat Cream IPA has all the trimmings of the perfect Lemon Meringue Pie. Intense lemon from fresh peel & citrusy hops, a rich yellow filling and the crème de la crème - a pillowy, smooth top.

This year the West Coast IPA has a theme of horror films, so we went with the inspiration of New Zealand's greatest horror film of all time Peter Jackson’s - “Brain Dead”. We have had a play on words and made it “Grain Dead” due to the fact this beer is so hop focused there is little attention given to the grain/malt character. We have smashed in a terrifying amount of Columbus and Citra hops into this beer. It gives an amazing green piney resinous hop aroma. The hop flavour is scarily aggressive, yet it’s balanced in a way that it is like a brain dead zombie that sneaks up behind you and bites you before you know it. Be aware, and be ready to enjoy this horrifyingly good West Coast style IPA.

Jed is a supremely easy drinking ale/lager hybrid weighing in at a respectable 3.5% ABV. A healthy addition of Vic Secret and Azacca hops provide an array of bright fruity aromas and a restrained bitterness for optimum drinkability, whilst a Carapils driven malt profile evens the playing field to combine for the ultimate low-alcohol Australian Mid.

American Amber Ales are like American Pale Ales but with more body, more caramel richness, and a balance more towards malt than hops (although hop rates can be significant, like in this one). Expect an enormous and delicious beer. Brewed for GABS 2015.

Australian Cascade and Galaxy hops animate the waters of Canada Bay with light, spirited citrus and stonefruit flavours. With its restrained malt profile and satisfyingly bitter finish, Canada Bay may well become your new place of worship.

Sour Yet Satisfying. This refreshing golden kettle sour is dry-hopped with Citra and Mosaic hops which give a juicy tropical flavour and aroma.

Cruising in at 4.8% ABV, Pirate Life’s Tropical Pale calls on famed N.Z. hop varietals Wai-iti, Riwaka and Kohatu for their trademark fruity punch. Aussie staple Enigma lends lifted notes of Raspberry and crushed grape, while a lighter filter pass has bumped up the concentration and overall juice bomb appeal. Woah… Visually, it’s sunny and bright lemon in colour with a touch of haze. The palate is clean and fruit driven, a lively combination of passionfruit, citrus and fresh red berry. Oats lend a delicate and creamy mouthfeel while a considered reduction in bitterness guides Tropical towards the session end – great news for those on the look-out for a refreshing summer staple.

This cunning, well-rounded brew has a backbone of traditional Golding’s hops, a full-bodied Maris Otter malt forward and a dash of roasted barley.
