Our head brewer Ben can be a difficult man to please. When we brewed Escape Pod with Jack from Left Handed Giant in 2019, and Ben crowned it his favourite Pressure Drop beer of the year, we knew we were on to something special.⠀

When you have coconut, chocolate and vanilla luxuriating in a beer together, where to go to from there? The answer can be found in an unassuming Australian chocolate bar- the Cherry Ripe. Sienna from Pressure Drop (Queensland Queen) and Jack from LHG (Victoria represent) both thought Escape Pod carried echoes of this delight from the land down under, all that was missing was that cherry kick!⠀
