Pirate Life Belma IPA 355ml Can
IPA, 6.5% ABV
Brewery: Pirate Life Brewing
Location: Adelaide, South Australia Australia
Description:
We’ve dropped the latest beer in our ‘Hero Hop’ series, Belma IPA. It’s punchy, aromatic, and (tastefully) wild at heart... Unlike most hops, which are developed through international breeding programs, ‘Belma’ was discovered growing roadside near Puterbaugh Farms in the Yakima Valley. We’re untamed by nature, so it’s really a perfect fit. Of course, the succulent strawberry notes don’t hurt either – captured carefully through hot and cold-side additions. Expect honey hues and a loose head of foam. Aromas of peach melba meet berries & cream. You’ll score balanced bitterness and a lick of resin, too. PS. Big cheers to Bintani Australia for air-freighting Belma Port-side in time for the brew. You’re the real heroes… Malt: Pale Malt, Carapils Hops: Belma, Superdelic, El Dorado

Hop Nation Eggers IIPA 440ml Can
IPA - Imperial / Double, 8% ABV
Brewery: Hop Nation Brewing Co
Location: Footscray, Victoria Australia
Description:
In 2023, Hop Nation kicked off a new series that – fittingly given their name – centered around different New Zealand hops. After taking in the country’s deep south, Nelson Lakes and Freestyle’s farms, the Melbourne brewery’s fourth entry is focused on those that come courtesy of the Eggers family, who have been growing hops in the Moutere Valley for six generations. To show off the Eggers' farm, Hop Nation heavily dry-hopped a double IPA with Nelson Sauvin, alongside some Mosaic Cryo. Breathe it all in, imagine you’re in Moutere and you’ll be treated to fresh orange, grapefruit rind, a heavy dose of passionfruit and a whisper of nectarine. But while hops might be the star, there’s also an astute malt presence bringing balance via a touch of caramel to a beer that proved a winner when they showcased it at the Point Break Brewery Invitational.

Sailors Grave Law of the Tongue Smoked Oyster Stout 355ml Can
Stout - Oyster, 5.8% ABV
Brewery: Sailors Grave Brewing
Location: Orbost, Victoria Australia
Description:
Smokey Oyster Stout brewed with Wapengo Rocks oysters & Sunrise limes This is the story of an Orca named Old Tom, who during the early 20th century spent almost four decades helping Sapphire Coast whalers catch baleen whales. In return, Old Tom and his pod feasted on the lips and tongues of the whalers’ haul, then the Orca’s would leave the rest of the carcass for the whalers, this was known as the ‘Law of the Tongue’. This relationship was established over centuries with the local indigenous people, the Yuin tribe, who believed the killer whales to be their totem animal and reincarnations of their ancestors. An Oyster Stout brewed in collaboration with Wapango Rocks Wild Organic Oysters. 80 dozen oysters harvested by Shane Buckley from Wapengo Rocks were added to the kettle to provide subtle mineral and ocean flavours. Also brewed with Beechwood smoked malt, lactose and Sunrise Limes (a cross between a native lime and a cumquat) from Murray View Organics. Smooth, creamy and full-bodied with a bacon-like smokiness and citrus kick in the tail. Impenetrably dark and beautifully balanced.
