The Monk's Stout Dupont is part of the Brewery Dupont's history. Indeed, it was produced in the 50's. The aim is to revive this stout while maintaining the name and the design of the time.
Created in 2011, this dark beer is characterized by a dry and bitter taste. The use of roasted malts lends a well-pronounced taste of coffee and chocolate. The hop flavours remain perceptible though. Top fermentation beer with a refermentation in the bottle.
To be drank at cellar temperature (12°C) or lightly cooled, as accompaniment for shellfish, sushi, blue cheese and our cheese Moinette Vieux.
