Pouring a lovely light pink, this beer has a sweet strawberry nose, but is dry and sharp. Almost like a dry rose. This is definitely a beer that needs a few sips as it is quite different if you are not familiar with the style. Local strawberries and rhubarb are pureed and added into the fermenter in secondary fermentation (this is after the malt sugars have been consumed). Sweet berry flavours develop into sour rhubarb before a dry finish leaves you wanting more.
