Coopers XPA is all about extra hop flavour whilst being well balanced and easy to drink. With Simcoe and Lemondrop American hops added at different stages of the brewing process we have achieved an optimal bitterness level with bright citrus undertones. Like all of our Ales, XPA is naturally conditioned and free from any additives or preservatives.

this may have been outstanding before all these IPAs, New England IPAs, Pacific IPAs, XPAs ad infinitum flooded the market, but the fact is Coopers should have released this 10 years ago. Nothing bad or disappointing, don't get me wrong, but, at least not nowadays, not a real surprise either.

I really prefer their Green and even Red over the purple. Its a nice try but nothing out standing.

Coopers XPA for me!
My everyday drinking beer is Coopers Pale so when this was announced I was very keen to try it and I was not disappointed. Coopers have always managed to find a balanced flavour that can make your taste-buds sing and want more and they have done it again with this XPA. It is full of body with a great nose with a rich amber hue. It smelt fantastic and the taste was divine! I will be curious to try this in bottle form or on tap, as I find with most Coopers, the glass really lends itself to the taste. But honestly if you like Coopers you will not be disappointed with this. It has made me think; will this be my new go to beer? Quite possibly!
