The particular character and the unique taste of "Delirium Tremens" result from the use of three different kinds of yeast. Its very original packing, which resembles cologne ceramics, and the colourful label contribute to its success.

My first Delirium - and why I came back
First had this at the Belgian Beer Café in Adelaide, was one of my first experiences of higher gravity, "big" beers.
I will always come back to it; it's not my favourite of the Delirium stable, but that is because the whole collection is so very, very good. Very much an explosion of taste, and a beautiful drinking experience.
It was my first, and won't be my last. If you like just one Delirium, be good to yourself, and try them all.

One of the best!
Best enjoyed by taking your time and savouring the aromas and complexity of flavours in this Belgium tripel.
The taste fills the mouth with a wonderful malty and fruity flavour, leaving a nice bitter finish.

Not my favourite Belgian
First thing you'll notice with this beer, is loads of carbonation. I had a jet tornado of carbonation roaring from the bottom of the glass. You really get a lot of that carbonation when you take a sip. One of the more carbonated beers I've tried. Taste is nice upfront, but it does have a fairly strong bite on the finish. Not so much a bitterness, but somewhat of a dry alcohol type bite. Bit hard to put my finger on, but the finish is not something I've experienced on a lot of other Belgian beers. It reminds me a bit of Orval. Not my favourite Belgian Ale.
