  Subtle yet very complex

  Dany Prignon is one of the great innovators in the Saison style and this beer is a perfect example of his artistry. Whilst the description may be a bit off putting (it was for me), the beer is really worth a try. The Chocolate and especially chili are there but do not overpower as they often do. This type of beer can be too sweet and cloying, this cannot be said of Prignon's Chocolate.

  Deeply complex, highly underrated !

  A Saison, but so much different from others. Typical characters of clove & peppery spice, cereally malts & light fruity esters combine with unique characters of raw cocoa, hard cheese, dried capsicum and white wine vinegar. Very different, a touch unusual & confronting, but an amazing flavour experience!
