One of the best of the monastic beers

My favourite German wheat beer
I love hefeweizens, and this is my favourite. I have tried lots of varieties in this style having made many trips to Germany over the last 15 years. The Franziskaner Hefeweizen has a perfect balance of sweetness derived from the malt with the banana, mango and clove flavours from the yeast esters and very mild bitterness from the hops. I can drink this any day of the year.
