Temptress – a Brown Porter infused with cocoa and whole vanilla beans – is a luscious winter warmer that has garnered a cult following since release in 2008
Just as the name suggests this is a very tempting beer! This is a classic robust porter brewed with over 300 kg of malt and infused with a dash of rich Dutch cocoa and whole vanilla beans. Luscious chocolate, coffee, and caramel flavours are balanced by a hint of vanilla and a body of 6% alcohol. A perfect winter treat or a complement to homemade meat pies and chocolate-based desserts.

Delicious and chocolaty !!
This is so smooth and creamy with a chocolate after kick that makes you want more. One of my favourites.

Like a smooth sweet stout with cocoa after-kick
This is good, pours with a beautiful tan head, first sips and mouthfuls roll down smoothly with a sweet rumble, no bitterness or over-roastiness of some stouts but great malty depth. The cocoa notes build up into the last half of the glassful, and are very satisfying.

Just a beautiful drop - goes down smoothly, very sweet stout-like, the cocoa and vanilla hints are very subtle, there's no hops bitterness, it's a hearty dark ale to return to! A treasured favourite!

Great winter warmer
I've used this beer as a gateway beer for non-dark beer drinkers. Always gets a good reaction. Low roast, nice chocolate character. Very enjoyable - perfect for a winter warmer or dessert beer.

Very good
Dark opaque with small tan head, aroma of vanilla and coffee with slight chocolate. Coffee like bitterness up front which mellows into a more cocoa finish. could do with a little more body, higher than expected carbonation may be contributing to the apparent thinness. Great introductory dark beer.

Chocolate and slight alcohol nose. Chocolate and raisin flavours. Slight warming finish.

A fantastic Chocolate Porter
An extremely smooth, flavoursome dark ale. Comes with a nice cocoa, slightly bitter finish. Delicious!
