In 2008 we released our Temptress Chocolate Porter, which gained a cult following. In 2013, as a homage to the Temptress, we released an imperial version, the Empress – our Imperial Mocha Porter.Tasting NotesEmpress pours a deep, impenetrable black with a tan head. English and German speciality malts together with Belgian Candi Syrup and oats provide a luscious palate and a full, silky body that oozes with dark fruits and toasty, chocolate malt flavours. The rich malt character works in tandem with premium cold brewed coffee from our friends at Motobean Coffee Roasters along with Dutch Cocoa and Madagascan Vanilla to produce an exceptional Imperial Porter that’s perfect for whiling away long winter nights by the fire.
