Another beer that makes use of old wine barrels from the Hope Estate Winery. Mahogany in colour with a tan head. Herbaceous, earthy and dried fruit aromas from English and Slovenian hops blend perfectly with the rich malt and biscuit characters. While the old wine barrels do not impart any overt oak characters to the beer they do provide subtle nutty characters to the flavour and help provide a creaminess to the mouth-feel.
