  Red IPAs are great for complexity, of flavour and texture. This takes that complexity and cranks it up in scale with its 11.1%ABV. But the F111 Black IPA offered maltiness, creaminess and drinkability not usually found in black IPAs, where this is just a bigger, stronger, more complex red IPA, not a welcome and radical departure from the style that the black IPA was.
