  The result of a good bet, and a happy discovery

  The description sounded interesting so I ordered a bottle. Disaster nearly struck when the brown paper wrapped bottle nearly got missed in the brown paper of the packaging - I only found the bottle weeks after the rest of the box was gone, and I was throwing out the packaging! A very lucky save. I have never drunk a beer that drinks quite like this. A beer in flavour, but a drinking experience not unlike cidre bouchée, or a tart sparkling wine. Very special indeed, certainly one that I will be keeping on hand for special occasions, especially for those happening in warmer weather. I have tried several beers from this brewery - this shines out as the best, for me.
