  not...

  This one is way too sweet for me. There's talk above of a 'classic resinous bitterness', but it seems to me these terms have been re-defined (watered down) of late; frankly I can't find it in this beer. I prefer far more old-school hard-core bitterness than this has to offer.

  The bitter part went...

  Not what I would call a WCIPA at all, more like a hazy in disguise. This is just way too sweet. Where’s the bitterness?! The blurb talks about “classic resinous bitterness’; unless the term ‘bitterness’ has been radically redefined then this just seems misleading to me.

  Bitterness.....what bitterness?

  This was disappointing. It's just way too sweet for a WCIPA - the blurb mentions 'resinous bitterness', I searched but couldn't find any. Please bring back the BITTER!!!! 'Tantalizing sweetness' is also mentioned, it's not tantalizing it's downright dominant! In my view (and of course it's my opinion only) this is really a hazy in disguise.

  Weak...

  Not worthy of the name West Coast IPA. It's way too sweet. Where is the BITTERNESS!??? Why not just call it a hazy and save people like me who prefer dangerous bitter WCIPA the disappointment.

  Doesn't deserve the name of West Coast IPA. Way too sweet. Where's the bitterness?! A can of lolly-water.
