"Intense aroma of chocolate, dried dark fruits, molasses, and 'Arabic spices'. The beer is sweet up front, lots of chocolate, molasses, prunes, raisins... really thick mouthfeel, aided by the addition of lactose, and those spices pervade the whole thing. In a strange way, no particular spice stands out, so you're left wondering what exactly is in there.. really cleverly done, with great restraint. It dries somewhat on the finish, with a lovely lingering aftertaste of sweet, spice, a little bitterness and something either nutty or woody." - International Beer Collector
