Pastry stout without the alcohol
My favourite dessert stout when I don’t want all the alcohol of the really big ones. Dark chocolate and plenty of cherry for mine.

just a chocolate stout, not really black forest
mouthfeel, colour and head all those of a classic chocolate stout. Cherry sadly absent. Holgate black forest stout this isn't, its just a pretty typical chocolate stout.

Cake Hole Black Forest Stout
Aroma of coffee. Flavour of chocolate with very slight astringent, vanilla and light bitter. Nice to drink.

Cake hole from @moondogbrewing poured a beautiful deep coffee colour with a tan head. Strong dark chocolate aromas and as it warms up you can get the hint cherry giving it the black Forrest cake scent. Tastes as you would expect. Delicious chocolate notes with a hint of cherry. Aftertaste of bitter dark chocolate, toffee and cherry. Don’t know what I was expecting but this is better. Perfect after dinner nightcap.

Great dessert beer!!
It’s big on the chocolateyness on the nose and in that first sip! Took me a few sips to pic up the cherry flavor as it’s blended so well with the chocolate. This is delicious, a yummy dessert stout!
