  #BeerCartel Well a stretch of days off have inspired me to try some beers I haven’t had before. In this day and age the online world gives us an abundance of choices not available at our local. You can spend a little or a lot. This first one is a Rogues Ale from Oregon in the good ‘ol U.S. of A. Dead Guy Ale - coming in at a nice, solid 6.8%. In the Maibock (German craft, Malty beer) style the red/amber colour gives way to a light, Malty, creamy taste with Hops in the back end of the swallow (but not too hoppy) a great ‘relax with a couple after work’ beer. The label was done to celebrate the Mayan Day of The Dead Festival . A new favourite

  Helles yeah we enjoyed this Bock

  It had a beautiful amber color to it. The malts and hops were blended perfectly together and it made for a very relaxing drink. Has a bit of a caramel taste to it. Would recommend it.

  Perfect refreshing beer for a hot summers day, or anytime! This one's for those who don't get a kick out of commercial beers anymore, and want a step up!

  4 stars for my favourite beer

  first tried it at the yard house in Waikiki and it was love at first sip, keep meaning to try other rogue brews but can't go past dead guy ale ... a slightly bitter and hoppy flavour that is satisfying without being heavy or leaving a bloated feeling (hey, this actually does matter to female beer drinkers), nice touch of malt in the aftertaste..... hmmm, so is it disturbing that my soul mate is a dead guy ?

  A little bit of everything. Quite IPA-ish in style with a lager maltiness on the back palate. very interesting beer that could quite easily find it's way into your regular drinking regimen.
