You'll hazel-NUT when you have a sip of this
As soon as you have a sniff of this the hazelnut hits you.
As it slides on your tongue, hazelnut is what you taste.
If you love hazelnut, you will love this beer.
If you hate hazelnut, would not recommend.

Not as bold as I would have hoped
Bought this due to many good reviews around and got a 6 pack. It was decent, just not bold enough to be honest. I was hoping for something richer and a bit more complex, but as an in between between a stout and an ale, it was pretty good.

Last one for the evening is beer number 7. Rogue - Newport America, their Hazelnut Brown Nectar. Yes it’s obviously dark brown, roasted nuts and Hazelnut nose and palate, Malty, smooth overtones. Easily drinkable at 5.6%

Highly rated and a repeat purchase.
The hazelnut, which is clearly discernible, makes this beer unique and justifies repeat purchases. Excellent.

Excellent
One of my favourite brown ales.
Pours dark brown with a light tan head. Smells of Hazelnut, malt and hop. Tasting the beer the first thing that strikes me is the hazelnut and malt. It finishes with a hop and malt taste with a good mouth feel. Wonderful.

Awesome!!
Awesome awesome beer. The nuttiness really comes through on the nose and in the taste. Best rogue beer I've had so far. Don't have a bad word to say about it.

Excellent
A strong, rich hazelnut taste. Quite a sweet beer, but not unpleasantly so. Definitely worth a try!
