The original Anomaly Crafted Ales release, Mergia Bien is a blended dark ale, barrel aged in a combination of spirit and red wine barrels. We let the natural micro-organisms living in the barrel oak weave their magic for a minimum of 18 months then bottle condition for a further 8 weeks. The result is a rich and complex dark, sour ale

Mergia Bien 2021 is aged for 9 months in rum barrels then transferred to french oak cabernet sauvignon hogshead and aged for a further 10 months on sarsparilla root and vanilla. Shows notes of sour cherry, cocoa, red wine, vanilla, oak and cola.
