This traditional south-west flemish beer awakens your taste buds with a big boost. Once your senses have been acquired they experience a complex mix of wine-like aromas supplemented with red fruit wood and green apple. Lactic acid dominates the taste. This reddish-brown beer is a blend of old and young beer aged in different wooden barrels. The taste of each barrel is unique but by blending them the same style is always obtained. The beer ripens in the bottle for at least six months developing its subtleties and delicate aromas.
