Blackberry and rhubarb sour is a wonderful, jammy kettle sour fermented on a base rich in malted and raw wheat. After initial fermentation Jess added absurd amounts of blackberries and rhubarb juice and left the beer and fruits to integrate for a few weeks. Inspired heavily by the jams and preserves of Eastern Europe this beer is much greater than the sum of its parts. It exudes fruitiness and tastes like fresh blackberries! A beer any Babushka would be proud of.
