Our mostest favouritest style of beer. Changing things up a bit we trialed some malts from Voyager with SM40 and Voodoo, and combined them with Munich and Shepherd’s Delight from Gladfields. The play was then made with a cavalcade of Simcoe, Strata, Citra, Cascade, Chinook and Mosaic. Each hop was strategically added at different points to build a complex but balanced Red IPA.

Caramel and grapefruit on the nose, with iterative hits of malt biscuits, lemon and almond. This complexity is reaffirmed on the palate, with a full but drying mouthfeel delivering toffee, citrus and tropical flavours. The pleasing bitterness is reminiscent of the good old days, featuring that moreish pine and resin throughout.
