Beer Description: Inspired by his time living and brewing in the UK, Lachy, our Head Brewer, has gone about creating an English style Old Ale. Brewed with 6 different malts and aged on American Oak. We always imagined enjoying this smooth, complex, malt driven ale while lying on an animal skin rug next to an open fire in the middle of winter. But it turned out we liked it so much that we drink it all year round. Deep copper to burnt red colours are complimented by a dense white head. Complex caramel, biscuit, toffee and vanilla flavours are balanced by a warming alcohol and firm bitterness. Malt driven and heart-warming.
Endless Haze - Hazy Pale Ale Pale Ale - New England

Beer Description: We had so much fun experimenting with botanicals to create our Hopped Gin that we couldn’t resist using them in our newest brew. The prevalent character is citrus, which hits from all angles thanks to the addition of yuzu. It’s like a breakfast juice with a splash of gin marmalade. The botanicals were carefully selected to complement a big, hoppy IPA resulting in mouthfuls of piney, citrusy goodness. APPEARANCE: Golden burnt tangerine. AROMA: Lots of citrus with pine and floral notes. FLAVOUR: Zesty, pithy, juicy citrus, bold pine, and subtle floral characters with a bitter, dry finish.
Caribbean Fog Pale Ale - New England

Dolly Aldrin - Strawberry Berliner Weisse Sour - Fruited Berliner Weisse

Beer Description: A traditional German style sour wheat ale, where low alcohol, tartness, and fruit combine to create the ultimate quencher! The beer undergoes a 24 hour period of lacto-fermentation where all the souring takes place, before being fermented as normal, and finally blended with freshly cold pressed Strawberries. The result is a deliciously fresh light and dry ale, with some upfront tartness, which is rounded out by the juicy fruit flavours.

Beer Description: After touring the world, finding his IPA groove Gaz has returned to the motherland, his home, his domain, the place where all his best beers are presented. This IPA, is here to stay! With a bountiful nose of tropical fruit, including tangerine, and a subtle but resinous backbone of piney goodness (because who doesn’t love piney goodness), you could be forgiven for thinking you’ve just cracked a bottle of Cottees at a 4 year old’s birthday party. Never fear, bouncy castles are nowhere near! This IPA utilises subtle malt flavours to balance out the bitterness that makes you thirsty for more, whilst allowing the hops to drive this refreshing drop home. We wish you all the best, it may be very difficult to stop at just the one three glass glasses.
Wax Flower Sour Sour - Other

Beer Description: Our first release for 2021 is a wax on, wax off kinda deal - with a gentle nod to one of Australia's most unusual and in turn unused native plants, Geraldton Wax, endemic to Western Australia. With a citrus sting of summer right off the bat, this bouquet of floral flavours and aroma will leave you wanting more. And more you will get out of this stunner 6.9% summer sour. Lemon Myrtle on the nose with hints of Lavender and Pine. Finishing with a swift tart refreshing kick that lingers like those long carefree summer days of old. Wax Flower Sour is a uniquely Aussie taste and you'll be hard pressed to find anything like it. Wax on. Wax off.
Mandarin Sour Sour - Fruited

Beer Description: We’ve always been big fans of citrus flavours and for this brew we sourced fresh Australian mandarin juice. We deliberately chose light malts to allow the juice to shine through and shine it certainly does! Prominent mandarin aromas set the tone for a refreshingly sour beer that drinks clean and crisp. APPEARANCE:Light golden/straw. AROMA:Clean, sour mandarin notes with a slight red apple ester from the Philly Sour yeast. FLAVOUR:Fresh and slightly sour, without being too drying.

Beer Description: The unique brews from Beers From Our Backyard celebrate the landmarks of the Northern Rivers, so it only made sense for Jasper Ale to join the range. Inspired by the one street town called Federal, that is perched up in the hills, the land around this area of our backyard (once known as Jasper) is rich in volcanic soil that in some parts are the colour of the label and the beer. The tropical fruit aromas of our Northern Rivers backyard come from the generous additions of Galaxy, Enigma and Mosaic hops. These are balanced with a smooth and velvety mouthfeel from the selection of roasted malts that give hints of caramel, toffee and hazelnut, finishing with a firm bitterness.
