This is our take on the new world style Extra Pale Ale. The Extra in the Pale Ale is because of the amount of hops added whilst still keeping the alcohol volume low. We added the same amount of hops we would usually add to a much heavier alcohol IPA just later in the boil so you get all the hop character without the higher associated bitterness and standard drinks.
We have used a heavy hand in the whirlpool and dry hopping of two of Australia's favourite and high alpha hops Galaxy and Vic Secret. Keeping the alcohol percentage low means you can still have your favourite hop driven beers without having to settle for just having one if you have to drive.
