Hoegaarden Wit Blanche, the original wheat beer, is the oldest and most famous of Hoegaarden's range. When poured, it forms a soft, white creamy head and leaves a generous lacing on the glass. Its naturally cloudy, pale hue shimmers when viewed through the glass.
With an aroma of orange peel, coriander and spice, its characteristic taste is entirely unique: smooth, light-bodied, and simultaneously sweet and sour, with a subtle, spiced citrus flavour. Best served in its traditional hexagonal glass.

Lovely aromatic Dutch...
This is amazing if you love a hazy gold aromatic brew, low in malt darkness and hop bitterness but the coriander and especially citrus peel aroma and taste is quite an experience! I can see it being a lovely refreshing summer brew to enjoy!

Glad you get it in stock, it's dropped off the radar most other places. Great flavour, nice with a slight chill in the freezer for this weather, and recommend a swish of the last inch of the bottle to pickup the flavour that's settled when completing a pour.

The oldest and still the best!
I fell in love with this beer when I lived in the Netherlands 40 some years ago and it’s fantastic to be able to enjoy the same, uncompromised flavour as before!

This beer is life!
This is the gold standard wheat beer in my opinion, and has been my favourite beer for many years. Unfortunately it has once again become like true gold and is hard to find since the brewery who shall not be named decided to drop it from their import list after a merger….even more unfortunately is that I made the grave mistake of introducing this beer to people who were “not beer drinkers” who promptly became not just beer drinkers but also beer hoarders who now search far & wide to scoop up every carton they can.
This is the part where I plead with anyone reading to please not be a beer hoarder & leave me some too…because this beer IS life! ?

Not being able to get this beer in Australia at regular bottle shops for quite a few years now I am super glad I can get it from Beer Cartel. Admittedly it’s on the pricey side now. But nothing can replace Hoegaarden if that’s what you are craving.

Oldest & Best Wheat...
Been drinking this for years now as it has turned into my "go to" beer! Almost impossible to get hold of it in Australia since Dan Murphy's dropped it off their list even though it continually sold out in record time in Brisbane metro shops. Readily available in Europe as is the Rose which is also worth trying if you haven't yet.
Cloudy, light & refreshing, so easy to drink on hot summers days. Even my partner likes it!
Will be buying it on a regular basis from Beer Cartel but more than 1 case at a time. Delivery confirmed as very quick - less than a week to Brisbane from date of order.
Cheers to all Hoegaarden lovers.
