Made in the Speyside region of Scotland this Glenlivet 15 Year Old Single Malt Scotch whisky is infused with delicious vanilla flavours and a hint of spice. 

The Glenlivet 15 Year Old gets its distinctive rich and exotic character from a process of selective maturation in which a proportion of the spirit is matured in French oak casks.

Glenlivet were one of the first to use French oak for whisky making and is now a technique which is copied around the world. The Limousin oak that is used in the oak casks is cut in France’s Dordogne region, where it’s often used to mature cognacs. The low density of this wood allows the whisky to sink deep into the wood, and the distillers carefully control how long the whisky matures in the casks so as not to overpower the desired result which is a pleasing vanilla spiced whisky.
